As we transition into fall, we’re excited to introduce a whole host of new loyalty and promotion features to future-proof your incentives strategy.

Top of the list is our new Best Offer Logic algorithm, a cutting-edge feature designed to protect promotion margins and avoid rewards stacking.

Maximize promotions profitability with Best Offer Logic 

When managing multiple overlapping promotions, balancing profitability with customer experience is a complex challenge. So-called “discount stacking” quickly erodes margins, while the need to deliver the right offer at the right time demands constant oversight. For many businesses, this task requires teams to manually prioritize and organize sometimes hundreds of campaigns.

To solve this, we’ve developed our Best Offer Logic: a cutting-edge heuristic algorithm for companies to manage competing offers.

This allows companies to deliver compelling offers without sacrificing profitability, even as campaigns grow in complexity.

How it helps: 

  • Real-time SKU evaluation: Automatically select the most effective promotional offer for each SKU at the time of purchase, ensuring no discounts are applied more than once. 

  • Bundle prioritization: When multiple promotions overlap, the algorithm prioritizes bundles for maximum margin protection and value.

  • Seamless customer experience: For customers, the system automatically surfaces the best deal, eliminating confusion over which offer to apply, and giving customers a clear and compelling reason to complete their purchase.

SOC 2 compliance: A new addition to our rigorous security standards

In the latest development to our security measures, Talon.One is now officially SOC 2 Type II compliant. Our SOC 2 attestation follows our ISO 27001 certification in early 2023, and means we’re one of the few loyalty and promotions software providers on the market to adhere to both global security standards. 

SOC 2 is one of the most sought-after security frameworks for SaaS vendors, and certifies an organization’s ability to keep customer data secure. Being SOC 2-certified is often an essential ask during the procurement phase, creating ease and validation for procurement teams working with new vendors. 

With our certification, our clients can feel more confident than ever in our data and security standards. On a practical level, that means:

The application performance dashboard: A single dashboard to track all your campaigns’ performance

When you're running multiple campaigns, toggling between different dashboards to get a full picture of performance can be time-consuming and frustrating. Our new Application Performance Dashboard changes that by bringing all your campaign insights into a single, easy-to-navigate view. This new view compliments your existing Talon.One dashboards, including: 

  • Account dashboard: A top-level view of revenue across all campaigns.

  • Campaign insights: A focused dashboard that drills down into individual campaign performance.

  • Loyalty program dashboard: A detailed view of a single loyalty program.

The new application performance dashboard means you can evaluate the impact of different campaigns at a glance. By comparing metrics including revenue and session value, you’ll be able to quickly identify which campaigns are picking up speed and which are lagging, using dynamic trend indicators to guide your next steps.

Users can also filter campaigns by time, group, or individual efforts, so you can make precise, data-driven decisions at every level.

Streamline loyalty program management with advanced tier evaluation

Loyalty tier expiration dates may seem like a small UX detail, but they can significantly boost operational efficiency and customer engagement. Our new advanced tier evaluation offers more flexibility to customize tier expirations based on business cycles and customer behavior, providing clear, predictable paths for loyalty members while making program management simpler for brands.

Talon.One users now benefit from granular control over how and when tier changes happen: 

  • Program join date: Tiers are reevaluated relative to when customers joined the loyalty program.

  • Tier join date: Tiers are reevaluated relative to when customers joined the tier.

  • Absolute expiration date: All tiers are set to expire on a fixed date.

This flexibility streamlines tier management while providing a personalized experience for each customer.

Gamify customer interactions into rewarding challenges with our Gamification Engine 

For companies looking to go beyond traditional loyalty tactics, we’ve also launched the Gamification Engine: an out-of-the-box solution to build automated gamification mechanisms at scale. Designed to drive engagement and loyalty by consolidating gamification workflows into one intuitive interface, companies can use the Gamification Engine to create challenges, badges, progress trackers and implement personalized rewards across all their promotion channels.
